Lucy Shane

While in law school, she earned a Certificate in Litigation and she was President of Akron’s nationally ranked Trial Team, participating in competitions across the country.
She began working in the field of domestic relations in 2021, finally finding her niche.
Her inclination towards litigation led her to working for Dmitriy and the Borshchak Law Group, who shares her desire to fight vigorously for their clients’ best interests.
EDUCATION
Lucy Shane graduated from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management with a degree in Finance. Preferring people to spreadsheets, she pursued a law degree and was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 2019.
INTERESTS
When not found at the office, Lucy enjoys reading novels, spending time with her family, and rescuing animals. In fact, you will often find stray cats gathered around her door, apparently having heard the news that her home is where they will find the best food, treats, and most importantly – catnip.
LEGAL CAREER
Family law is her calling. She has a deep-seated passion for helping people in their most dire moments and is honored when people trust her with the most important thing in life – their family.
